By development you mean pay players large sums of money, or keep them college for 8 years (Bennett), right?
How much did you pay for Owen pappie and is he coming back next year?

No one counts how many classes they took in college.
I doubt that you have ever seen a game live in Sanford.

He's not. He has better talent at the moment.
At the moment and most likely for the duration of his career, because he is superior as a recruiter and at a superior program.

Strange.Kirby won the SEC and played for a NC in year 2.Heupel couldn't even win the division in his 2nd year.

I attended uga, unlike you. It’s a great time to be a uga grad and fan.
It’s also great to a vol reject like Ladd. Talk about getting lucky to avoid the dump up north.

Kirby made the playoffs and went to the NC game where he lost in OT in his second year at UGA.
He was already way better then Heupel before he built UGA.
He also won SEC coach of the year (the one awarded BY the SEC) in year 2.

You pretend to be a Christian, but defend a liar for "your football team". Apparently UGA is more important than Christ in your life.

Kirby didn't really deserve the award. He's a returning National Championship HC with the highly favored team to win another National Championship. Those that should have been really considered for that award is Shane Beamer, Brian Kelly or the guy from UT.

Heupel and Kiffin are better game day coaches than Kirby and it’s not close.
Even if that were true, Kirby is so much better in all the aspects outside of game day (recruiting, player development, week long game prep, hiring good assistants) that it wouldn't matter.
Gameday coaching decisions is one of the most overrated parts of being a college coach. Many of the best coaches in college history were not gameday experts. Bobby Bowden, Bear Bryant, Knute Rockne, Tom Osbourne, Bud Wilkinson... all of these guys made their teams great with actions outside of gameday.
The best coach who was primarily a game day coach was probably Steve Spurrier. All time coaches weren't know for schemes, game-day decisions or x's and o's. They were known for recruiting, finding diamond in the rough players, developing great game plans before gameday, hiring quality assistants, developing innovative offensive and defensive strategies in the off season, finding great matchups... things like that. Not calling a good play on 3rd and 7.
Guys known for that are good coordinators, not head coaches.

The fact that you have switched to arguing about whether a fan attended classes at UGA is a sign that you have no leg to stand on. It is a terrible argument and has no bearing on Smart, or the UGA and TN football programs. I don’t care who attended what school. It is meaningless in these discussions.
You continue your low blows by saying I’m “pretending” to be a Christian. I am a Christian. No pretending about it. Jesus is Lord and He is my savior. I repent of my sin daily. He is more important than all else to me. You need to focus more on the arguments and less on personal attacks.

That is an unprecedented accomplishment. Look what Coach O. did after his natty and losing his players to the draft.
