Tough blow. Luckily this squad has quality depth. Was really excited to see Brazile all season long. Seemed to be a total package player.
A little more pressure now on Jordan Walsh.

"Injuries are just part of the game".
frick that. You lose a key player on your team, whoever your team is, and you want to hit somebody. How many seasons go in the toilet because a guy gets hurt. I get it that "it's part of the game" but F that. Arkansas will still roll, btw but damn it sucks. I'm still pissed about Randy Livingston back in the day.
*Irrational Rant over.
*First ever Proxy melt for Arkansas fans.

Arkansas lost starting pitcher Peyton Pallette to a season ending injury back in January. Sky was falling. Arkansas finished third in the CWS.
Arkansas lost SEC leading rusher Knile Davis in fall camp. Season is over, it only happens to us and we are cursed. Arkansas finished 11-2 and in the top 5.
Teams that have good to great coaching and have talent who are winners don't let an injury get to them. They find a will and a way to overcome them.
Losers who are fragile and weak let it consume them. They give in and lose.

Avalanche lost the best 2 way player in hockey back in the day and won a Stanley Cup 3 weeks later, so I totally agree. It forces teams to rally and other guys step up. This assumes you have depth, and you guys do.

Easy to say when there’s quality depth which we have in basketball. Not so in football yet.

It depends on the culture. Winners have the coaching, talent and depth to overcome unless it is just a substantial amount of injuries. But importantly a winner attitude that wills you to victories. These athletes are not machines but flesh and blood. Players who haven't proven themselves can still step up and provide a spark.
Losers have terrible attitudes. They rhyme with bad coaching, bad players and no depth who buckle under the pressure then lose when it counts the most. Injuries happen and they quit.

Football is a loser while the basketball program is the opposite. Baseball is the same.
