If you were to build the staff for Freeze how would it look?
Here's mine after seeing some guys Freeze has worked with, has some connections to AU but still very good welcomed coaches, and no idea what type of defense Freeze wants to run. I'm going with a 3-4/3-3 base since most have gone that route.
HC – Hugh Freeze
OC/QB – Kent Austin or Big name OC
RB – Caddy
OL – Sam Gregg or Chris Klenakis (Friend maybe)
WR – Mickey Joseph
TE/ST – Scott Fountain
DC – Zach Arnett
LB – Chris Marve
DL – Rodney Garner (obviously)
DB – Zach Etheridge or T-Rob
S – Charles Kelly
List your staff out or insert take away from the base I created. Shouldn't take long to know of the key staff members over the next week to week and half

Marve is listed because I'm sure he works closely with Zach Arnett and his schemes. If he's not important to Arnett maybe a good recruiter in Tommy Thigpen might be someone to reach out to again or possibly an edge coach.

I would love to know who all have been texting CHF to make the hires out of that shuffle...that would be interesting

Walters has definitely had a great season. Would he like working under a Head Coach that is big on tempo?
I've always been a Yurcich fan. Wish he would incorporate some of the veer and deep passing game he used at Okie State but maybe that was more Gundy's baby.

Freeze was being specific about some o coordinators. He’s got people in mind for sure

Dylan some nice young coaches on your staff with a mix of some older guys with big experience. I like it.

I'm glad to see some of you guys putting thought into the special teams category. Our specialist have been fine over the past few years but our overall special teams units have under performed. Maybe that has to do with lack of depth but I'm tired of seeing way below average special teams.

Any guesses who?
I don't think anyone knows. Baby Briles maybe but not sure why he would leave to work under an offensive head coach when I'm sure he's either eyeing a potential head coaching opportunity at a lower level P5 or G5 school. I think that's his next step.

Any chance Ike is retained in some capacity? He seemed to recruit well, so it might help recruiting continuity.

OC/QB – Technical (don't see any reason to move from Kent Ausitn)
OL – Technical / Recruiter - not older than 60 , curious about Will Friend, probably couldn't get Stacy Searls, my choice
WR – Recruiter
TE/ST – Recruiter
DC – Technical (Barry Odom probably would work)
LB – Recruiter
DL – Recruiter
DB – Technical/Recruiter DC2 - Charles Kelly
DB – Recruiter
DB or WR must have connections to South Florida

I sure hope so. I feel like Caddy will really go to bat for him. They played together @ the Tampa Bay Bucs and I have heard Caddy speak highly of him on several occasions.

I'm surprised no T-Will yet.
