Alabama is literally 2 plays away from being undefeated whereas Tennessee got its arse kicked in its 2 losses. Plus losing their star QB doesn’t help matters.

Who ever thought a Hooker would be so valuable?

At this point in time they are better than us. But we beat them on the field, what’s the point of playing the games then? Might as well put Bama ahead of TCU because Alabama is better on paper than them too. The complete inconsistency in the committees logic is horrendous.

Why is this so hard to understand? They didn't just lose but were EMBARRASSED by an unranked sc team with what 5 losses? And they lost their qb. Simple as that. Bama loss was close

You cannot recover from a late season blowout to an unranked team.

The Vols are one play away from having 3 losses, with 2 of them being blowouts.

It ain’t complicated.

Because head-to-head competition, as much as fans who generally look no farther than W’s and L’s would like it to be, is not and never will be the committee’s sole determining factor in these situations. It’s that simple.
