Yes, this is a rumor. But, it was started this morning here in Atlanta when Tony Barnhart of the AJC told Tim Brando on the radio that Tubs to Clemson is a done deal. A Clemson friend says that the same rumor is all over the Clemson boards, as well as other forums

Jimmy Sexton worked a package deal....Tuberville to Clemson and Saban to Washington. A friend of my cousin's heard someone at the Waffle House say that their mechanic got a psychic message telling him that it was true.

Straight up rumor. Not a lick of validity until someone in an actual capacity to have knowledge with either party says its valid. Thats my position with them all, Applewhite to Texas, Saban to West Virginia/Washington/_____________, or Tubby to Clemson. Its all message board rumor-mongering...UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE.

It is all complete stupidity. Haven't you dumb as frick gumps learned anything? I guess not with a flat learning curve. Last year it was a done deal and I think the contract was signed that Tubs was going to A&M. Then Arky was going to announce the next day. Contract signed and everything.

A big time Clemson booster works at my office. We talk football occasionally. He attends all home and road football games. He's got cash and is well connected, or at least appears to be so.
I asked him who is their next head coach. His reply: Bill Cowher. Three year contract only.
He said Cowher's wife was looking at houses in the area...
