Has anyone been "almost good" as A&M is?

Dating back to the end of last year:
3 point loss to LSU
3 point loss to App State
4 point loss to Alabama
6 point loss to South Carolina
3 point loss to Ole Miss
3 point loss to Auburn
Sounds like to me that Fisher deserves another raise and extension, being THAT close to being a good team.

That almost good preseason #6 and recruiting national championship team had the longest losing streak in school history in over 50 years!

I mean Nebraska has perfected close losses and nobody's asking "what could have been?". Ags are terrible and it makes me feel even worse the hogs stumbled and lost to those freaks
