bitch arse puthy to claim you got cheated because a terrible call that would've screwed your opponent wasn't allowed to stand.
That's what OM fans are actually doing with the backwards pass.

Can’t complain about anyone but us. We were in the redzone about half of the game and got stuffed by the Dawg D.

I mean it was a break for sure but the refs can't just make it up as they go along.

To be fair, the Ole Miss Player didn’t go for the ball because he heard the whistle.

I’m curious to see the explanation by the SEC on this call.

Said Auburn a couple years ago. If Kiffin wants those calls he needs to go there

To be fair, this happens all of the time. When they get a call wrong and say a runner was down, they blow the whistle but go back and review to see it was a fumble and was clearly recovered.
It’s not a new thing they just made up. Everytime they get the call wrong on a fumble that was called down, a whistle is blown. It’s literally the same play.

But it’s not the same. One was an inadvertent whistle, which by their own admission, nullified the play and whatever outcome there might’ve been.
So how then can you review a play that you just said, by rule, didn’t happen?

To be fair, Ole Miss got the call back when they didn’t give Dillon Johnson a touchdown when he touched the pylon with the ball

The exact same thing happens on every fumble that is initially ruled down by contact. Do you think they don’t blow a whistle on those plays? The “inadvertent whistle” didn’t happen before the events of the backwards pass and drop.
