I believe I read in his current contract Kiffin makes $7.25 million/year plus incentives. I believe he's the 11th highest paid coach in college football. So, I would think for him to seriously consider leaving Ole Miss for Auburn he'd need at least $9-$10 million a year.

He’s two halves away from being undefeated at Ole Miss this season solely based on the portal class he put together? Starts a freshman QB RB (maybe the best in college football) TE LT and RT. All we need is a couple more OL and WR’a and ole Miss will be in the playoffs soon.

have a good day

He is a good coach as a Vol’s fan I will give him that. But if he is wanting championships he will have to go to a better school. ole miss will never be a Bama or LSU. Not meaning any disrespect to the rebels.

Kiffin was fired by the Raiders and USC. He quit on TN and FAU. He was relieved of his OC duties by Saban on the eve of a NC game.

Now according to rumors he's quitting Ole Miss.

Again someone tell me what program he built and sustained into a dynasty?

Good point. He’s only 18-4 in his last two SEC west regular seasons and only expected to get better.

Post Saban reformation internship...he:

Turned a FAU team that went 3-9 the year prior to an 11-3 team.

FAU has won a conference championship 3 times in the history of their program. Once under Schnellenberger, twice under Kiffin.

In his 3 seasons At Ole Miss, he's won 8 more games than Matt Luke did in his 3...while playing 3 fewer games.

In the last 50 years, Ole Miss has had three 10-win seasons. '03 under Cutcliffe, '15 under Freezus, and last year under Kiffin. If he wins 10 this year, it will be Ole Miss' first back-to-back 10 win seasons since 1959-1960.

That would be my explanation.

Fans and media love “offensive gurus”. Kiffin and Sark are the latest like Tom Herman and Rich Rod were years ago.

I agree and also believe he would be a fool to leave the Rebs for Auburn. I don’t begin to think I know all the ins and outs surrounding the Auburn program but if he were to take the job, he better dam well make sure there is 100% alignment in Auburns wheel house. Otherwise those guys that pull the strings behind the scenes will sink him before he even gets started. I tend to believe Auburn is at a crossroads similar to Tennessee years back, if the hire is not right you may very well see them as being irrelevant in the SEC for years to come.
