Tennessee needs LSU to lose the SECCG, among several other things like TCU loss, USC loss.

Because in either outcome of the SEC title game, they look pretty good. 11-1 SEC team with a blowout road win over the SEC champion, or, 11-1 SEC team with their only loss being a road game against the #1 ranked SEC champion.
They pass the eye and resume test in every way. Fun, exciting, fresh name with a Heisman caliber QB people want to see in the playoffs.
2 loss teams that get blown out at home and lose in New Orleans to really bad teams don't make the playoffs with 11-1 teams who beat them sitting at home.
