Neither is UT if we are being honest. You got lucky with a transfer QB that will be gone next year. So until UT can prove it is here to stay you are still not a top shelf program/destination for the top recruits or portal guys.

This has nothing to do with the fact that Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and LSU all not only have better recruiting staff's than Tennessee, but also better recruiting grounds period.
Tennessee is already playing from behind in its own backyard to 2 of those teams.
Tennessee is having a great season, absolutely, but this is less like 2018 Georgia and more like 2014 Mississippi State. Tennessee isn't on the cusp of being a yearly SEC contender; you've got a veteran team with a great offensive-minded coach.
