Yes A&M is a weak team but...
To me last night was like an exorcism. The ghost of Gus and Harsin were released.
Players, coaches, students, fans... it was glorious!
"We ain't dead". "We comin" to quote our HC.

No that is reality. Emotion and good feelsies's doesn't win very much against talent in hostile environments. Emotion will only take you so far, until you get hit in the mouth.

We are what we are.

Barely able to beat another 3-6 team in our own yard.

Gus gave us some great memories we will never forget

Harsin stole from Auburn and gave NOTHING back

I never want to even hear the guy’s name ever again.

Good riddance.

Yeah it's absurd to put Gus in the same category with Harsin. Night and day.

With relation to Gus.. yes a few good years but the position he left us in with recruiting and the complacency is what I am referring to.
My goodness, I stated we beat a weak A&M.
You guys keep those negative waves to yourselves. Your attitude is what needs changing.
Those kids had fun last night, the coaches.. had fun...the fans... first time is a few years and you can't take it away.
You negative dudes stay the hell home!

I now believe a large portion of our fanbase is cult that finds refuge in the hallmark and lifetime channels.

Emotion should not play a roll in this hire either. Auburn must go for the proven. Auburn needs stability and a steady proven hand right now.Take a look at LSU and BK. Another example is Saban. He was a proven commodity when Bama hired him.

Who the hell brought emotion to hiring the HC?
I made a simple positive statement about last night and some of you have to be negative, crack a joke about age, change the narrative.
My goodness stay at home!
By the way Jang.. we old farts put $$$ in that program, fill that stadium and know a hell of a lot more of what's going on than most on this site.

Not here to play childish games, make funny statements and all that crap some of you guys enjoy.
Again, I made a positive statement about last night. Yes it was emotion and obvious you don't understand or could see what it mean't to the team and those coaches to finally cut loose and enjoy the game.
Sad you guys have to spin the negative.
By the way 86 only thing I just learned.... is you just want to be a smart arse. I will give you last comment because it will make you feel better.
WDE!

Everyone knows that win was all about Bo and clutch second half defense. Not one time did Harsin ever have a resemblance of second half adjustments.

Speaking of LSU, their middle linebacker is a stud

It was a very odd feeling to vacillate between such excitement to finally be rid of Harsin and have hope for the future/remember what AU football is supposed to be like and then be slapped in the face by the reality of the extreme limitations of this team on the field.
