Yeah, Bo Nix was begging to go back into the game. All that he had to do was call timeout and put together something involving his starting qb. Not saying that things would have went differently but seems like he choked away a chance at victory.

Aranda went for it on 4th and 3 from his own 19. Also didn’t get it.
But they were already down 24-3 in the 4th so it didn’t really matter.

Bama is out with two losses. TN will get in over Bama. Probably going to be UGA, OSU/UM winner, TCU if they win out and either TN or USC if they win out.

There is a better chance that LSU beats Georgia in the SECC and three SEC teams not named Bama make the CFP than Bama making the playoff.

They will be 8 next week.
Their problem is 3 teams are almost guaranteed a spot ahead of them barring a massive upset. Winner of OSU/Mich, UGA, UT. So only one spot left.
TCU, USC, Clemson all have to lose. Even then they’d have to worry about OSU/Mich loser who would in all likelihood make it over them.

I dont see TCU losing again, they dont really play anyone else.
You also have USC/UCLA which will play next week with just 1 loss each and the winner will get a boost.
UNC at 8-1 if they win out including beating Clemson in ACC CG will jump bama.
