Bama Hoops Game #1 and Questions

So, I got a chance to go to the game last night. We have lots of height this year. Not much hustle from Bediako IMO . No shooters have emerged yet. Seemed like more hustle on D.
Where were Quinerly guys? What am I missing here?

You appear to be missing he tore his ACL just over 7 months ago and is still recovering.

Jahvon is recovering from injury out until December at least, probably January. Jaden isn’t really in the main rotation is he?

Curious to hear your rationale for this, because he pulled down 8 ORBs and recorded 5 total steals and blocks. I think he may have drawn a charge too. It's tough to do those things if you aren't very active.

Some of you guys are touchy. To begin with most of this was a question since it's a message board. I have not kept up with Hoops since March at all. Thanks for the info that was not high browed.
On Bediako, Are you guys serious. He's 7' tall playing against guys that were a foot shorter than him. He should have gotten rebounds and blocked shots. With that said. He is so big that maybe he just looks slow but just watching it looked like the new guys were hustling much more.

He's 7' tall. He should have gotten more blocks and rebounds than he did. He just looked slow to me. Maybe it's because he is 7' but I just didn't see him moving like he did last year.

Your take on Bediako is bad. He played a really solid game last night. Early on he had a great defensive play, ran the floor and got a dunk. Textbook stuff. And he has added some weight, which is a really good thing compared to where he was playing last year.

I did not know that. I guess that's why I posted the thread. Thanks for the info. I have not even looked at any Hoops since March.

12 rebounds, 2 blocks, and probably 5-7 more altered shots/forced mid-range jumpers in 22 minutes from a defensive minded big is really, really productive. How many rebounds do you think he should have pulled down?
