Said it after the second or third game. Didn’t want to believe it, but there’s something not right with this team and it isn’t just injuries.

If we hit a string of good coaching hires this program has every bit of remaining competitive.

We haven't made a good hire in 14 years so I'm not holding my breath.

If a frog had wings he wouldn’t bump his arse.

Same could be said for every program. We just happen to have a horrid track record over the last decade at hiring coaches.

During the Nutt era we all were convinced that the ceiling for our program was higher than people thought. Petrino proved that true. However, what we didn’t realize is that our floor was a lot lower than we thought as well.

Nutt stayed way too long and had seasons where he underachieved such as the 99, 03 and 05-07 seasons.

Arkansas is in a perpetual rebuilding state since 92 because they hire bad coaches or hire mediocre coaches that turn bad or will turn bad like it will with Sam.

I don't see any reason why Arkansas should have lost to Liberty in a third year of a coaching tenure.

Butch Davis would have done well here but of course our retard athletic administration didn't seem interested.

I think we'll continue to regret whatever decision-makers chased him off more and more throughout the years, he has OM playing lights out with a roster that's equally or less talented than ours currently.

We wouldn't be Arkansas if we didn't let the next big name in coaching slip out of our grasp every decade or so

Lane will probably be the next coach at Bama and he would've left here for that even IF we'd hired him, but those few years would've been fun

Missing on Kiffin is yet another in a long line of colossal frickups when it comes to our coaching searches. Should have laid that man whatever he wanted and a little more for good measure.

We deserve to suck for not opening rhe wallet for Kiffen. We always go the cheap route for football hires.

That's not the story. That's the cover for the dipshits who torpedoed Kiffin on purpose. Written by whichever bitch "media" person who leaks bullshite onto message boards. You can probably guess the usual suspects.

Kiffin was coming. He was torpedoed by certain eternal butthurt PTB's who used Wally Hall and "Hog Radio" in Springdale in a smear campaign every day against Kiffin

Case in point, those two pieces of shite Ruscin and Zach. Taking orders and trashing Kiffin every day for something like two weeks.

I don’t think that’s accurate. I think Hunter wanted more money for assistants, and wanted loyalty to the university by doing so. If Kiffin came he would be making as much if not more than he does now but with a bigger pool for his assistants and NIL.

I think if you asked Kiffin he would say he fricked up on that.

Nope

NIL was not even an issue then.

one particular BOT member torpedoed it. I'm not going to sit here and argue with you on it. Believe Mike Irwin's bullshite lies all you want.

No shite, it’s an issue for him now, I’m saying if he just taken less in the beginning he would have been in a better spot right now.

Never paid attention to Mike Irwin other than we wouldn’t have Sam without him. He pitched Sam over and over… then got a few former players in touch with Hunter. That’s how we got Sam.

Every person you’ve had a problem with I don’t pay attention to. I’m just saying things that Hunter and the players who contacted Yuracheck have said.
