Your team cheats every play because refs have been ordered to look the other way during the Saban dynasty.
Now that his time is almost up, refs are tired of gifting Bama every play. UGA is the new SEC favorite for now.
So the refs were looking the other way out of the goodness of their heart and now they've stopped?
Must have been the mustard bottles.

Kentucky does that as well.
Which, again, begs the question. If you're going to put a linebacker in a down stance more often than not ... there is a defense that does that with a better athlete. It's the 4-3.
You are stuck on semantics.
The benefit of the MINT defense is that it screws with zone blocking assignments (makes it harder to ladder up to the ILBs).
If we stop the run better in a 4 man front (mint), why do we want to be in a traditional 4-3 defense?

I suspect this will be a breakout game for Georgia's TE room.
Hell, if this is the breakout game then UT's in trouble. Last week the UGA TE's had over 200 yards receiving. If that was not the breakout, this week will be special. The lowest TE production this year was 71 yards against Oregon in the first game.

Its not semantics. If you're going to walk up a LB and put his hand in the dirt ... why not do it with a heavier ball player ? We used to call those DEs. And every DE was big enough to occupy a Tackle. The really good ones collapsed the edge of the line all by themselves.
It's math. Football dictates a seven man line by the offense. Five of those players, by rule, are not pass eligible. It just so happens that all five of those dudes, now, weigh over 300 lbs and run the 40 in under five seconds. As Tenner is showing, even the tackles can pull now.
So why in the Hell do today's DCs continue to bitch about how important it is to win the line of scrimmage ... yet insist on doing so with three equally sized lineman - and maybe an LB with his hand in the dirt that's at least 50 lbs lighter ?

Most interesting statistic is those 25 sacks are also all of our defense’s tackles as well.

What Tenn fans are not understanding is, UT is not going to stop us either. If this develops into a shoot out, which it might, I have more faith in our defense to get a stop than UTs.
Y'all have been making this assumption but it's quite wrong. We're not worried about stopping you and I don't mean that as a way of saying our defense is great and going to shut you down. I mean that we're not worried about you scoring because we believe in our offense.

If you never stop the other team, you're not going to ever win regardless of how good your offense is.
Titles can't be won on offense alone. The defense has to contribute. Maybe UT's defense is moving that way after a nice performance against UK, but UGA's confidence comes from the fact that while UT has the #1 offense... UGA is actually #2 (using total offense). But we feel like our defense is likely to get more stops than UT's is.
