Yep. UGA's defense isn't based on having a pass rush. We keep today's mobile Qb's contained, keep running lanes from opening in case of a draw or delay and force the opposing QB to throw it away by collapsing the pocket.
It's not a stat padding defense.
But it is a defense that's 4th in the nation in total defense, 5th in rushing defense, 13th in passing defense and 2nd in scoring defense nationally.
It's just methodical and effective.

You will too. You do realize UGA's the best passing offense you'll have faced this season. We're 8th in passing yards per game. The next best you've seen is Bama at 34.
UT is 2nd in passing yards. The next closest we've faced is Oregon at 23rd.
The difference is UGA held Oregon to 173 yards passing. Bama had 455 yards passing against UT.

Can’t wait for Hooker to have valuable time in the pocket to let the plays develop. Really thought UGA would be near top of the list.

Last I saw, UGA led the country in QB throw aways.
How good has Hendon been this season throwing the ball away?
Does he force throws? Or does he get it out of bounds to live to play another down.
