Is it just me is he becoming the same loudmouth douche he was at Tennessee? During his time here Saban kept him on a tight leash. Last night he cursed an opposing teams player. That is totally childish and he should be ashamed. I hope we blow them out in Oxford.

Don’t speak about our next coach like that….

That’s future Alabama coach Lane Kiffin to you, buddy

I want him back in T-Town. He might be the only one willing to follow the Goat.

I hope we blow everyone out. Lane has always been enthusiastic in games, usually in a good way, though. If you watched most of the game, you saw that after almost every first down that Ole Miss made, an A&M player flopped down on the field. The timing was suspect, to say the least. The injured players usually sat out only one or two plays, and went right back in. Lane got frustrated with it, eventually, and acted out. Was it childish? Yeah, certainly it was pointless.

At the end of our game with rocky top they had players faking injuries to kill our momentum and stop the clock.
That is a team that's entire offense is based on causing confusion and using HUNH to create mismatches and attack weaknesses.
I wish Saban would have throw a tantrum about all that.

Lane is winning in spite of himself.
His insistence on continuously going for it on 4th down is going to cost him. Sometimes you just punt the fricking ball and let your defense do their job.

His problem was that his defense wasn't doing their job very well for part of the game. They did play well at the end of the game, though. I think some (not all) of his gambler mentality would go away if he had better talent and depth to work with.

You and I don't always agree but I certainly agree with that. Not only were the supposed injuries to stop our momentum, but by then their defense had been on the field lot of the 2nd half, and they were very tired by teh end of the 4th quarter.

I’d like to see LK, in a comfortable situation, have his entire lineup fake an injury on a play. 11 guys rolling around. After the wholesale substitution, Then have one guy fake an injury on the next play to give him time to re-sub his starters.
If enough mockery was made of fake injuries, maybe the PTB would take a serious look at it.

Lane may never reach great coach status due to his attitude. It keeps him acting like a kid.......Maybe in 10 more years he might calm down to Spurrier levels and be ok.

apparently Kiffin isn't an elite recruiter, but at Alabama, especially now with NIL rules, he would be good enough, and I'm sure he'd hire a very good recruiting staff.
Obviously, he's a very good offensive coach. He and Pruitt would make a hell of a team. And Kiffin is brash and confident enough that he wouldn't be shy about following Saban, whereas a lot of coaches will be.

Kiffen and Pruitt might work if Kiffens offense could blend in TOP on demand to rest Pruitt’s D.

LK has the attitude and current equity to pull off that stunt.it would get run on SC and on talk radio too.

This would by funny, but how can you police the issue? Refs can't even figure out PI and targeting, so how can we expect them to decide when and injury is and is not legitimate?

I think he's an elite recruiter, but he's having to recruit to Ole Miss. Not an easy task, to say the least.
