So far, the rooks have been as good as advertised but Chuma and Okoro are struggling and Thor has just had very little opportunity.
Chuma in particular probably needs to make a leap of some sort this year or I could see him fading out of the league soon.
Okoro will probably find a spot on a roster for 8-10 years somewhere regardless but early signs this season are ugly.

Did Cleveland aquire talent that is chipping into Okoro’s PT or is it simply that he’s struggling to produce on the offensive end?

I remember the same was said last year about Okoro. I don't keep up enough with the NBA to give an educated opinion, but he ended up playing really well for them in stretches.
Also thanks for this, I was thinking the same thing as I kept seeing post about the NBA in the season thread.

I’ve been following his career pretty closely and it definitely seems like he does a lot better when he has a clearly defined role he is stuck with for weeks/months long stretches at a time. Any time he misses any time for injury or has limited/up & down PT he really has a hard time.

They acquired Donovan Mitchell (3x all star) and it has shifted everyone’s roles around a bit.

Threads become unbumpable after a certain amount of time
Anyway, the Rockets and Jazz are about to play again. Game starts at 8pm central time
Magic vs Cavs in progress

This could end up being a fun thread

Okoro and Okeke barely even rotation guys right now. 11 and 5 minutes in this game against each other
Posted on 10/26/22 at 10:38 pm to auburnnyc94
Jabari has been struggling with his shot. Okeke and okoro don't do anything.

Yeah, 3/10 last night. Shooting under 35% so far
But on the bright side, Jabari is the first rookie to ever have 11 made 3P and 7 blocks through his first 4 games. Random stat I know, but he's currently on pace to become the first rookie in NBA history to have 100 made 3P and 100 blocks, which would be cool
