This is Little Rock’s 68th reported homicide in 2022. The city’s record year for homicides was 1993, when 70 took place.

Anyone have any insight on what the driving factor behind the uptick is? ‘93 would’ve been in the heart of all the turf wars, that’d be about when HBO came to town.

Idk but I was watching a youtube ranking of the 10 cities in the USA going downhill in 22/23 and Little Rock was #3 (Jackson, MS was 2 and Stockton, CA was 1).

Blacks these days don’t fight, they just shoot one another, and most of the time it’s over stupid shite.
Until the black community calls out their own, nothing will change.

I don’t live in Little Rock and haven’t paid attention to any of this, so by your disputes I’m assuming it’s a bunch of dead crackers.
I would assume it has to do with Little Rock being a hub for the cartel moving drugs around America though. Which would cause turf wars, too many drugs chasing too few of dollars due to inflation/recession?

That’s an issue everywhere and has been in LR for a long time.
That doesn’t explain the uptick though. Or why LR is see more homicides than cities with similar demographics

That number feels wrong. I have always heard the record was well over 100. I think around 189 or so.

May break it by the end of the weekend

You think LR has a homicide rate next to Juarez?
Posted on 10/21/22 at 3:31 pm to RunningBlake
What a blight LR is on our otherwise fine and beautiful state.

I guess my mom was exaggerating to the number to me when I was younger. Again I was young. Maybe around 15 or 16 so I never cared to check up on it.

Springfield and Nashville surprise me.

1000% chance the record is broken.
Would be interested in a map showing where they all occur.

Follow the demographics, and the crime matches. Of course, there will be whitey progs that will turn their nose up at the facts I just stated.
There's a reason why the term "white flight" was coined. There's also a reason why the white flight communities have very little crime and the areas left behind still have a failing crime grade.
Facts and shite.

Nashville
Why? Nashville had problems before everyone decided to make it their hillbilly Vegas, make fun of southerners bachelor/bachelorette party spot.
Then all the Californians moved in, I wouldn’t be surprised if NWA doesn’t turn into the same type of shithole. Especially with everyone promoting that top places to live bullshite.
