Want to see an example of a failure to adjust by Golding and Saban? Look no further than Alabama's coverage vs Tennessee (according to PFF):

DeMarcco Hellams: 5-7, 128 yards, 2 TD
Malachi Moore: 2-2, 87 yards, 1 TD
Terrion Arnold: 5-7, 78 yards
Jordan Battle: 2-3, 35 yards
Brian Branch: 2-4, 14 yards, 1 TD
Chris Braswell: 1-1, 11 yards, 1 TD

So 4 of #11's 5 touchdowns were against a safety, and 1 was against a freaking LBer. You can't make this shite up.

Pitt defended them better than we did What did they have one punt the whole game?

I think that they had one 3 and out, which we proceeded to turn the ball over on the punt.

And we had an INT, and 2 stops on 4th down. That was about it as far as our defensive successes went on Saturday. Not even counting the dropped handoff TD by Turner. No one did anything special on that play. Just got a lucky 7 points.

This is what's incredible to me. This indicates a complete lack of preparation by the players and coaches. With all the talent you have, regardless If they have advantages at spots. You can't even make them work for it? Because their drives were absolutely effortless. This was actually the worst defensive play Ive seen in the Saban era. No hyperbole

Yeah I'd have to agree.

I got flashbacks of what Mike Evans did to us in 2013, but his catches were at least contested by a DB. I can't remember ever seeing a player consistently get that wide open on so many plays against us. We might as well have sent 7 or 8 guys rushing the QB every play. Probably would have been more effective.

That 2013 defense was also way, way less talented than this one. All the real talent on that team were either just beginning to contribute or not playing. Tennessee's offensive line absolutely put a clinic on our front

i think saban got too caught up defending run by hooker and rb .. our dline didnt help

saban is too stuck to his defensive philosophy ... should have let more corners in rather than safety.

in order to prevent death by thousand cuts he made death by one cut possible

Lane Kiffin is licking his chops!!! The issues we have in the secondary are an easy fix but with how stubborn we are, will we actually do something about it?

The fact that Braswell was in coverage to begin with is a crime.

Bingo. With the exception of 31 being elite, 15,1, and 10 good we have a plate full of average players at the other spots.

The Broncos put Surtain on the best opponent WR every week. Why didn’t we ever just stick Koolaid on 11 and see if he could stop it? If not, maybe give Ricks a shot? Couldn’t be any worse. Nope, we tried nothing. Baffling!

Do you actually believe Nick wouldn't play a player if he were the better player? With that said, there is no way in hell Nick will send out a player that hasn't done his best on or off the field to replace someone that has. What a message that would be to the guys that are doing it right.

If Ricks doesn't get on the filed this week, then he is done at Alabama.

Quite honestly if you have to bring in outside analyzers, its a pretty good indicator you need better coaches because the ones you have don't know what they're doing.

If you're going to subscribe to that theory, then at least remember that Georgia, Ole Miss, Texas and others have brought in Outside "analyzers"

It felt like I was watching a re-run of the 2007 game against LSU.
