Last year we had a hit you in the mouth don’t back down attitude from coaches all the way through the program.

This year we’re just weak and have no fight. Bertball at its worst.

Pittman's montra when he came in was to never yell at players when they fricked up because the team was so beaten down and defeated after Bert/Chad era.

That may have been the right strategy at first, but it's now obvious that he has to make decisions among the staff that will hurt personal relationships and inject lots of venom and piss into the program.

Look 40-17 sucks but if we had no fight and quit it would have gone a lot worse.

Yeah, I remember when we hit Georgia in the mouth and didn't back down.

I don’t like to throw the word “soft” or “quit” around. It’s almost always an unnecessary way to say the team isn’t good. I don’t think this team isn’t trying. They just suck. Chad’s second team straight up quit which is rare to see.

Down 21 to 0.... Team proceeds to fight and cut it to 10/11 multiple times throughout. They fought. They also lost. Both things can be true.

Agree that we fought and lost and they aren’t mutually exclusive. It would have taken good coaching, good luck, and more consistent execution to win this on the road.

The milkies have dried up. The smaller his tits get, the less fight we have. Direct correlation. Bring back Kenny Hatfield!!! Jk

Say what you want their soft and frick.

4 dropped INT’s

Poor tackling

Ball inside the 10 yd line twice and couldn’t get it in. Once on the 1 yd line.

Lazy play on defense.

Yea they scored a whopping 17 points but just like the end of A&M and Bama. Hit them in the mouth and the back down.

Mental mistakes.

This team is soft as charmin.

There is no hunger or fight. Defense can’t even get a stop at crucial moments to get us back in a ballgame.

I’m not watching this the rest of the year and I doubt many others will either. The Mormons will beat our heads in next week. Book it.

Sounds like you and the "many others" are the ones who are soft. We have been decimated by injury and lost to the two toughest teams on our schedule. Suck it up.

Guess we are. I got better things to do. Just like I did during the chaggie years where we put forth the amount of effort we showed the last 3 games.

Yes, our depth is shot and we aren't amazing.

What are you talking about? Come back and beat Mo State after being down, fight back against bama, and made it a game to watch ater a horrednous start.

We're an injured team who isnt' great but they do fight. Now I can see that turning into that if we lose the next 2.

They didn't give up but had to compensate for not having Jefferson on the field.

Arkansas hitting Georgia last year was like punching superman in the face.

Nothing happened except a broken hand.

Jefferson wasn’t out the last 3 games where we looked like warmed over dog crap outside of maybe 10 min in each game.

Another question. Why do we continue to run a 3-2-6 defense if our secondary depth is so thin?

If we’re set on running than go get Andy Avalos when Boise St fires him.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but if we don’t take care of business against Auburn, the Missouri game is likely for bowl eligibility, for both of us.
