I mean, I am not saying we're world beaters ... because we're obviously not. I just think it's funny that a player would give an opposing team locker room material before you play them ... and also be wrong.

Shades of whoever that clown defensive player was who said “Georgia’s good but they can’t beat Florida” before getting beat by Georgia 42-7.

Given the level of effort our team put forth against Missouri, the Tigers beating us was very easy to see.

Since 2010 the programs have been pretty equal in on field success
I remember after we routed them in 2017 one of their players mocked us for having low attendance in that game
Then in 2018 we beat them 38-17 at the Swamp during Homecoming (in front of 80,000 Florida faithful) and Mullen had the nerve to complain about fan support for that game

Its a little bit funny how Mizzou has caught Florida numerous times in years later in seasons where Florida has struggled.
Oh well - given how weird Florida seems to play against Missouri even when they clearly are the better team, I feel a lot better about this game with it being very early in October.

Major excuses for a mighty Big6 team like Florida. I thought you guys could just wake up, roll out of bed and still beat Missouri?
We beat your 10-3 Mullen Peach Bowl team 38-17 in the swamp. What was so disadvantageous about that game for Florida?

Winning the SECE twice, and Drew Lock breaking the SEC touchdown record were very “irreverent” at the time

well... that's exactly how it should be given talent levels that florida should be getting vs what mizzou is getting.

Oh idk... losing a game the week before to a top 10 UGA team which decided the SEC East?
And also in a game in which Florida played Mizzou without its 2 starting DBs?
Having Feleipe Franks being an absolute no show didn't help either.
