Y’all need to chill.
Students will pack it out for SEC play but no one is showing up for a sleeper game against Tulsa when it’s a million degrees outside. They don’t care that the teams you were in school to watch went 6-6 so they owe it to you or something to stay.
Moving the students back to the south side won’t help as much as people think either when I was in school people used to complain about how far a walk it was to the south side from the grove. There is always a built in excuse. We have the best coached team in 50 years and students going to the game still depends on weather and level of competition. It’s that simple.

People also forget that the students were in the Northeast corner before they were in the SEZ.
It wasn't a sleeper game though. A home field advantage would have been nice.
This is really all the product of pricing families out in place of ritizing it up to cater to middle aged and older people with money. Young kids haven't been to games and didn't grow up with a loyalty to the team.
