I'm only a college age guy, but Knowshon Moreno may be the best pure RB i've seen play against LSU.
Darren McFadden and Sean Alexander are close seconds, but no one i have ever seen has utilized small spaces, fought for yardage, and exploded through the line like this guy. Better than Caddilac Williams, who i would have compared him to.
What are your thought? How high does he rank on the list?

Knowshon is damn good running back, but IMO McFadden was better.

I am just glad he is on our team.

Moreno is damn good....but you named two in DMC and Alexander that were better against LSU.

I agree, about the fighting for yards, i think he does that better than any RB i've seen in a while, most of McFadden's runs were busting through the middle past Cutrera and to the endzone

Is he even fast? Everyone says he's not, but he looks like it when he's loose

Moreno is amazing at making something out of nothing which is important behind our young OL :) But he does not have the speed of worldclass back like McFadden.

Knowshon is a special RB for sure. I know you are young and didn't see him but to watch Bo Jackson carry a football was something special.
He was so good that if the Auburn game was on at the same time as the Alabama game, I would watch the Auburn game just to see what he was going to do.
Knowshon is not even close to what Bo once was. He is the only player I have ever watched that could beat your team by himself.
It was a thing of beauty.

Yep, Herschel Walker was at the same level as Bo Jackson; both big, strong and fast. They could knock down a LB and the pull away from the fastest DBs, basically men against boys.

uh, beckwith almost caught up to him
so i'd say your comment is incorrect

There was this guy named Bo Jackson, maybe you've heard of him.

Mcfadden definitely better than Moreno. Moreno and Alexander are different type of backs. It's hard to say which one is better.

Moreno and Caddy are from the same mold. It gives me flash backs watching Moreno play, esp the way he hops up right after the tackle.
