With our resources in regards to both in-state talent and monetary, we should never lose to a team like we did yesterday.
Drink is now into year 3 and I will fully support replacing him if he does not get things figured out. He took all of the blame yesterday, and that's what he should have done. The thing is, he just doesn't have any excuses left.
Why was he not prepared?
Why are we so ugly on offense?
He fixed a major issue from last season (defense), but the offense still looks like trash. Had our offense done it's job yesterday, the defense would have done theirs. I think he needs to immediately hire an offensive coordinator before it's too late.

To add: they had extra practice time to prepare for k State. Drink went on about it in a pregame interview. He knew it was a different look so he prepped the team to have them ready with extra film work, etc.

I wanted Drink at Arkansas in full disclosure. He's not really turned the corner yet at Mizzou. He might not be able to turn the corner.
We all know you can win, and win big, at Missouri, Pinkel proved that. You have to be a certain type of coach though. That was a very hard loss to take for Missouri. I think y'all can right the ship but I did not expect K-State to do as well as they did against you.

I hate to admit it, but I think people might be right with the assessment that he is our version of Chad Morris.

Nah Chad Morris was much worse. I lived in NWA during his tenure. Drink is at best a .500 coach who can recruit. If he is smart enough to hire an OC he might succeed.

That's fine to be a rah rah recruiter. Then hire an OC that will gameplan.
