How do you get NPOW and not SECPOW?

Probably because he can’t win the big games.

I think we can argue Stet played better. Far better is a little much considering how well Richardson played.

Imagine if Stet played more than 2 and half quarters.

Whoever is downvoting my AR15 comment about Anthony Richardson, it is true.

Let Alabama keep the #1 ranking all season, and let the awards all go to the equitable trendy flavor of the week

No. I want Bama playing the #2 team and us playing the weaker #4 team. Let us have Ohio State in the NC game.

Well, that sucks. I watched both games and don’t know how Bennett doesn’t win that.

the only reason we made the playoff last year was because we were the unquestioned unanimous #1 most of the season, so when we lost the SECCG, the committee would have to have a REALLY good reason to drop us from 1 to 5. As luck would have it, the only other team we were competing against for a playoff spot (bama/um/cincy were locks) was another 1 loss team, that didn't win a conference, and also lost to a playoff team. But we had the stronger resume.

On one hand sure, I agree let bama get hte big head and be #1 all year so it looks better if we beat them. But part of me is trying to look at it from a committee perspective, and I think it's a lot easier to drop someone out if they aren't in the #1 position. If bama enteres the SECCG #2 (with us #1) and loses, if there is a 1-loss P5 champ out there it's FAR more likely they'll be bounced entirely, which is obviously what we should all want. Last year was one of the ages but I don't think we should really be hoping to play bama twice a year every year.

And being the unquestioned fawned over unanimous #1 all season and facing little adversity is also a big part as to why the team laid a giant egg and lost to Alabama in ATL the first time.

What got us into the playoff was being undefeated.prior to that shocking abomination. If both teams had been undefeated, both teams would have still made the playoff.

We will not be hunted this year. We will be the hunters. So says Coach Naban, and I agree
