So, what would we be happy with as a record this season?

I am doing my best to temper my expectations.
Given the decade we suffered through, to me, anything like 8-4 is a success.

At least 9 wins. Only sure loss is Bama. No reason we should lose any of the others, but I'm sure we'll find a way, ala Auburn last season

I hope some of you are joking. If not it’s pathetic. I love Pittman and think he has this thing rolling in the right direction but no way in hell would 6 wins be considered a good season considering what we have coming back. No shite our schedules tough it’s always tough and it will continue to be tough as long as we exist in the sec west. Everyone else in our division has a tough schedule too. Auburn and Mississippi state have arguably tougher schedules than we do. Only winning 6 games this season with what we have coming back would be a major disappointment and if you don’t believe so you are part of the problem

I predicted 9-3 and I'll stick to that.
Obviously, while we have really rebuilt depth, an injury to KJ or a run of injuries to a position group on the defense could really put us behind the 8 ball but there isn't a damn thing you can do about that so I'm not going to worry about it.

The floor being 6 wins isn’t ridiculous at all but I wouldn’t say hitting the floor of our win total makes me happy or content. 8 wins I’m content 9 I’m happy 10 or more I’m jizzing in my pants

Barring crucial injuries, I just don’t see our coaching staff and team stepping back. They’ve bought in and aren’t going backward. Doesn’t mean we can’t lose 6, but I think a lot of us have PTSD (rightfully so) from years past and I don’t think that Sam is willing to let it play out like that. We’ll do what we have to to win, even if it’s not pretty.
