Citrus Bowl is not a major bowl. Irish also beat LSU in the Liberty Bowl. You gonna crow about that one also?

You looked up how many coaches won a NY6 bowl just to post this? Pretty weird.

those 2 were only able to do so after the GOAT made a brief program building pit stop there. Entirely unrelated I'm sure.

Are you really implying that Saban's tenure, which ended after the 2004 season, had something to do with LSU's 2019 NC?

I can understand 2007, but 2019?

Really?

Citrus isn't, and has never been, a major bowl.

A lot of nervous energy on this board, especially from the 39ers.

OP has been melting over the Kelly hire for months now. Quite sad.

As a head coach?

Well hell no. Just saying it as such because people tend to forget when a coach has a championship while being an asst someplace else.

Here's Boykin embarrassing your CB to help you remember.

That LSU team beat Aggie, 45-21.

Oof.

Like Private Dingus like bumping his gums... i like bumping this post.

So here's the deal aggies... you ALL feel your program has the better coach because he won a natty at FSU, right? Noted.

Now STFU and let your program and your amazing HC do something for a change... besides forfeiting a bowl game. Hopefully if the aggies make a bowl game this year, jimbo will actually give them an opportunity to play.

Aggies put a lot of stock into what their coaches did at previous programs because it's all they have.

LSU fans don't really give a shite because they saw Saban, Miles, and Orgeron came in with 1 bowl win, combined, and each of those guys won a title at LSU.

Oklahoma was the first school to win all of the new years 6 bcs bowl games. I am sure Bama has as well.... dont know if they have won the Fiesta unless the title was played there.

Which 6 bowls are you talking about here?

Oklahoma has played in the Peach Bowl once. I don’t think I need to remind you how that went. Oklahoma also never won the separate BCS Title game. They have won the Rose, Fiesta, Sugar, Orange, and Cotton Bowls, so close but not quite

There's only one thing for certain: they won exactly 1 title in over 100 years before he got there.

So yeah, in part the foundation he laid still played a part in it. Obviously not near as much as 2007, that title is his way more than Miles. Anyone with a brain can see that. He wouldn't have lost 2 games either.

Those are about as relevant and important as Kelly's pop warner championships. Anyone can be an assistant to a title.

What a ridiculously dumbass response.

However, I expected nothing less from you.

Carry on….

If the Dolphins make the playoffs this season, that dumbass will say it was because of Nick Saban.

As if a barner would know the first thing about a championship level program.

Auburn won a championship in 2010, I’m sure he was around for it.
