Did give up 38 to Texas. A big road win when Texas was ranked 9th early in the season. Texas scored a garbage time TD.

Gave up 24 to Vandy and scored 66. Vandy had a pick six in garbage time and a fumble recovery in the end zone for 14.

Gave up 37 to Ole Miss and beat them by 3 touchdowns.

Beat Auburn by 3, by far LSUs sloppiest game. Threw a pick in the end zone, went for it on the goaline and got stopped, just a weird game and par for the course or Auburn-LSU.

Beat Bama by 5. Bama scored a garbage TD on a Hail Mary where Smith burnt stingley, LSU then ran over them and kneeled it out.

Also have to realize in the last 4 games the defense improved and they completely obliterated 3 top 5 teams.

The best argument is “they gave up this many points to team X” while soundly beating team X and covering the spread

Couldn’t even hold on to the “greatest offense of all time” title.

1995 Nebraska's offense was just as explosive and scored more points.

We saw something similar to that in the '96 Fiesta Bowl. Florida with their high-powered passing attack vs. Nebraska and their power option offense.

Nebraska won 62-24.

imagine wanting to look good.

same thing Tussy is talking about during the COVID furlough year.

Probably depends whose rules you play under.

Although I do tend to believe that college athletes are far more "developed" these days than they were 30 years ago.

Better ask the OP that, sir. I didn’t start the thread. Just bombed it with cold, hard facts.

now they are comparing 96 florida to 19 lsu.

Should I apologize to aggy and bama fans right here and right now? Seems they are always (like CLOCKWORK) upset they allowed that 2019 team to happen.

When your argument consists of claiming a team that finished unranked in one poll as #7 team, then listing a bunch of awards that didn't even exist when the other teams played, it pretty much highlights you're full of shite.

Here's some more of those cold, hard facts:

Average Margin of Victory For SECCG + Playoffs

2019 LSU - 26.3

2020 Alabama - 17

If any other fan of their team had the 2019 season LSU had, they would be saying the same thing.

Imagine if A&M ever had that kind of season. Would literally be sucking each other off in public

And a person virtued by the marks of generosity, growth, and integrity, I must share, in all sincerity, you’re trying too hard. And you come across as resentful like a scorned lover. Ultimately it doesn’t hurt the object of your love, but rather yourself.

Year three of this thread being forced down everyone’s throat so LSU fans can have something to brag about.

10-11 since then doesn’t count.

You mean year three of bama and aggy clicking on this thread and shitting all over themselves.
Bama was not even mentioned in the thread and they came out of the woodwork to post in it.

Check.
