Not in the conversation, either, but will butt in :)

It's 78 here in sunny Los Angeles.

I keep hearing that Columbia sc sits in a three river valley that traps the heat in.

Either way, it’s always 4-5 deg hotter than Charlotte.

Anyone who had been to a September early afternoon game in Columbia will agree that Columbia is the hottest place on the face of the frickin earth.

It has to do with the valleys, being just far enough away from the coast to not get coastal breezes, the Appalachians blocking air flow and sandy ground that gets hotter. It's like the perfect combination of 5-6 things that make it a natural oven

On the golf course in Nashville it was 102 today. fricking awful. Supposed to be close to or over 100 for the next week or so.

103 during the day games is complete misery but it get surprisingly pleasant during the night games. Nice breeze usually.
