this would not only be logically stupid but would pretty much kill the SEC as we've known it for nearly 100 years. It is baffling why anyone would think this is the best method instead of having 3 permanent opponents.

Because outside of Georgia, Bama, Florida, Auburn, and UTe, who has 2 true rivals?

Eta
I want 3-6 personally but I see why some schools like USC, Kentucky, Arkansas, State, Mizzou, would want 1-7

I’m not even sure who our 1 would be under a 1-7. Bama and Auburn get each other obviously, Florida would get Georgia, A&M would get Texas, Ole Miss would get Moo State. I guess Arkansas?

Ole Miss has played LSU and State 100+ times. No one wants to see Ole Miss/LSU go away.

Texas, for one. It would be remarkably stupid to bring Texas and A&M into the same conference again and not have them play annually. Either that or cut a top 10 CFB rivalry in Texas-OU

We should want 2-6 at least to get 10rc on the schedule.

1-7 is fricking gay and is gonna cause some annual rivalries to go away.

USC isn't in the SEC; they're located in the Western U.S., in the Pac-12 Conference.

LSU would have UF & Bama
aTM would have Arky & Texas
Texas would have A&M & OU
OU would have Texas & Missoui

So...Historied SEC & NCAA rivalries have to be axed because others CAN'T decide on 3 must play teams?
