Bo Jackson
Herschel Walker
Derrick henry
Emmitt Smith
kevin faulk
Darren McFadden
Shaun Alexander
Charles Alexander
James Brooks
Todd Gurley
Mark Ingram

You aint in the SEC yet. Nobody counts until you're here. Ricky belongs in the Big 12 conversation for sure.
So does Earl in the SWC. Gary Anderson is one of the best backs I ever saw but that was in Arkies SWC days.

Dude most of your list never played in the SEC. If you are talking SEC backs not some back at a school that played weak teams and is not even in the SEC then we can talk.

But when it comes down to SEC backs EVERYONE knows its either BO or Herschel

Wash/rinse//repeat

Herschel was the best ever in any objective poll. Why is this still being discussed? It’s Herschel Walker.

If we're talking stats, dominant player on team and the team's accomplishments....it's not close.

Never finished lower than third in Heisman voting.

Never lost an SEC game.

Lost three games total in his career. Two of those to the National champion of that year.

Won the National Championship.

In the National Championship game, had more total yards than his team.

Still holds the total rushing yards career record after only playing three seasons. His seasons were 11 game seasons. His bowl games are not counted in his stats.

Dumb post is dumb. You can't be the best RB in SEC history if you never played in the SEC.

Walker or Bo.

Then . . . Henry, McFaddon, E. Smith, & S. Alexander.

It really just depends on how you look at it.

Best full career? Walker.
Best at their peak? Henry.

Bo was amazing and electric, probably has the best highlights of the group. But the overall resume doesn't stack up at all.

Low key the person nobody wants to talk about (primarily since he wasn't a RB) is Tebow. Heisman winner, three time finalist, two time champion. Holds the career rushing td record by a mile. Would be top 25 in career yards if you took out sacks and kneels.

I’m not saying he deserves to be considered the best but Jamal Lewis is often under looked

Pretty sure Herschel would have averaged 3,000 yds a season in the Big12.
