I think your perspective is skewed becuase you play them yearly and they are a division rival. All of the media articles I've seen have portrayed Saban as the villian/more of a whiny tweenager and Jimbo/AtM as responding to him nuclear style.

Way back in 2011 when I first heard the rumor that A&M was wanting in, I said then it was a bad idea.
The whole SWC mess back in the 80's, A&M was right in the middle of it. There was a literal war with SMU and OU for the services of eric Dickerson. The Trans A&M being the best public example.
Money is the root of all evil and Texas, A&M, SMU and even TCU took down the SWC. At one time ALL the schools in the SWC were on some type of probation at the same time and the SEC, to its own doing, invited that mess in.
Get them the hell out of here and let them and the Texas schools do what they will.

No. That's how I feel about my SECrant brothers.
SEC fans in real life are cool as hell. Football seasons are 1000 times better in the SEC than they ever were in the Big 12.
Have fun contending for worst gameday experience in the conference if/when you ever grow the balls to actually join this conference.
