Ole Miss - What do they need to make a regional

13 SEC wins is the minimum. One more to go. But is that enough for them in this year’s field?
RPI - 51 (work to do)
vs Top 25 RPI - 2-4 (not good)
Vs 26-50 - 2-3 (still not good)
Best series wins - Auburn & Lsu
I’m going to guess they need at least 14 SEC wins and an okay showing in Hoover to get the bid.

They could play Arkansas, USCe, Vandy, LSU, or some other suck arse baseball teams to increase their postseason chances.

We’ll get us next weekend. Hopefully the sweep Lsu and feel slightly less motivated next weekend.

Warren Nolan shows us at 40 RPI btw. I think we get in if we win 2 more SEC games. We have to win the series against A&M. They haven't looked good against MSU this weekend.

They are playing State. Not necessary to play good to win. Just need to show up and play a minimum of nine innings.

We need to get two more SEC wins to get to 14 on the year, then not lose our first game in the SEC Tournament. We do that, we’ll have a record of 33-21 (counting our final midweek game as a win) and an RPI around 40. Would be hard to leave us out at that point considering we’ve played good baseball the past two weekends.

If we win today, then we likely just need 1 win against A&M and 1 in the tourney and we can skate by. If we win the series against A&M then we are in regardless of today. If we get swept then we probably need 3 or 4 in Hoover.
