Young guys behind him haven’t grown up. Chris Smith will play the String, Tykee the Star. Trying to get a grad transfer to play the position, per Rusty

Yeah that's what it looks like for now, and I gotta say I not all that confident with him back there. He's got heart but to slow imo. He was protected with the front 7 we had last year.

Dan Jackson isn't connor norman, he's perfectly capable of performing adequately early on. I'm sure someone else will take his spot eventually but our early season schedule is pretty lenient so even if he is back there to start while other people get acclimated it's not really a big deal IMO

Why do we all assume he isn’t good enough? All those D guys in the NFL now respected him. Actually they respected the hell out of him. He must be pretty good

If Warren Erricson starts then you’re damn right there is.

I don't see how the coaches could look at the national game and start ericson. He's fine and all but he was such a liabiliyt in our biggest game of the year we benched him and said we feel more comfortbale wiht a freshman playing Left Tackle instead of you being on the field.

Ideally Ratledge is healthy enough to resume his role, but even if he's not you'd have to think there's someone on the roster better suited to start.

Has nothing to do with football ability, but when I heard his voice say "WE'RE GOING TO THE NATTY BABY" in a UGA social media post after the Orange Bowl, I knew he would never amount to shite on the field.

I think D Jackson will play a lot but starters should be Christopher Smith and Tykee Smith.

Tykee Smith.

All american at star.

I hope we can keep him there. It is a bigger impact position than safety.

He got hurt, which is why he left the field.
