from Bama DB Rashad Johnson.

"We've played his team before so we kinda know what to look for. They will try to establish the running game. When that doesn't work they will still try to establish the running game."

I read that quote this morning and didn't like it. What if they come in and run all over us? i just don't care for "bulletin board material" type quotes...

It just smacks of over confidence to me....

the funny thing is when he first came to Arkansas they threw alot b/c they had Clint Stoerner and Anthony Lucas, he is definitely a run first guy, but i think he'll do whatever fits the personnel

Back in 05 one of georgias lb's said we knew what was coming. They ran the same 3 or 4 plays all game.

Also, Last year the DC for tenn said arkansas was the easiest game plan they ever had. All they did was split the DE out wide.

Establishing the running game is what good coaches do. Nutt is a good coach. He'll have his team pumped up for Bama. Rashad does not need to stoke the flames any.

Nutt is not a "good" coach. If by mediocre, you mean good..then yes he is.

Good coaches try to establish the Line of Scrimmage. Great coaches know what to do when they cant.

This Ole Miss team is very, very dangerous. Jevan Snead adds an aspect to their game they have not had since Eli left. Their main problem is inconsistency. They lost on last second plays to Vandy and Wake Forest.

I think LSU is going to have their hands full with Ole Miss. And I expect Bama too as well. I think Bama pulls it out...but it will be a 27-20 type of game.

How in the world did Nutt get Upig to Atlanta twice if everybody knew what was coming.

from the same article:
With the Rebels looming Saturday, players could not help but be drawn back to last year's controversial 27-24 win in Oxford, Miss., that was decided by an overturned instant replay call. The official review led fans to throw objects onto the field.

"There were girls shoes on the field," quarterback John Parker Wilson said. "It looked like high heels. I couldn't believe it. We've had stuff thrown at us, but not shoes."

Sounds like Sarah Jessica was able to supplement his wardrobe.

Honestly I can't see how you would blame us for firing/paying him to leave. 10 yrs, 2-6 in bowls games..500 in SEC play. Esp Bama and LSU throwing fits because they didn't want Nutt as their coach.

What changed in a year? Now he is good coach.
He had McFadden, Jones and Luigs. All three got national awards and couldn't get over the hump.

We have a better record than we did last year at this point....with freshman

Nutt wins one or two games tops a year on pure emotion. He has the FLA win, I look for Bama to coast to a safe win, not a blow out and not an entertaining game.

at sjpw for getting him some new shoes.

That is funny bama players talking about having stuff thrown at them. Our team has had bottles thrown at them when we play at bama.
