So I didn’t realize you could clean house on an already cleaned house.

This is getting into we almost cannot field a team territory.

Well, at the moment, we can't.

meh, this is no different than last year. Or what LSU is also going through this year.

With as historically bad as we were this year I don't think a clean slate with a new staff is necessarily the worst thing.

The portal changed the game. Odds are we upgrade a lot of players through the same portal before next November.

If a random catholic school with 2,000 students can be competitive…surely we can round up 7 guys with some talent that want a full scholarship and can be coached.

I was at UGA when the Harrick fiasco happened….coaches legit did pick up kids for tryouts from Ramsey (student athletic center). Lot of guys we used to run with at the gym. Was funny to see them sitting on the bench the following year

Correct.

I assume a few players might return, but he is a huge piece as our leading scorer last season.

It takes a bit of paperwork and time to enter the portal, and being in the portal doesn’t mean you can’t return.

I have faith in White right now.

Also - UGA officially playing in the Sunshine Slam in Daytona over Thanksgiving weekend

I always enjoyed going to BBall games in Athens. Reminds me of winter time. Not sure how anyone could have gone to UGA and not ended up a fan. I just hate that they have not been very good, but thats part of being a fan.

I can see how considering we've been bad most of our history. Not every sport is for everybody..there are plenty of UGA sports I'm indifferent or simply don't care about. BUT, I simply cannot fathom how a supposed UGA "fan" could actively dislike or cheer against the success of a program. I don't really care about our womens swim team but I hope they win the natty every year, and certainly wouldn't wish the program to disband.

Generally those "shut down the program" people should really call themselves "uga football fans" rather than uga fans, and the overwhelming majority I'm sure didn't attend.

Basketball reminds me of winter and whenever I smell clorox, it reminds me of a gal on the swim team who liked getting mouth work done. That stuff lingers up in there.
