I can see this is going to be a real beating going forward, but the SEC in now in the state of texas so there’s no going back on that now.
If we have to keep one I strongly vote for Texas, let Aggies go. No reason to keep both and now that big brother is coming turn the cult loose. Better market value, more hardware, less weirdness.

Jimbo and Sumlin had exactly the same results at TAMU but Sumlin had a $30 million contract and Jimbo has a $75 million contract .......seems like a waste...

A&M is in the perfect recruiting hotbed, they have top tier resources and they very much want to win. Yet, their only title is from the 1930s when the sport was a different entity. Coach after coach gets similar disappointing results (hence this thread). They have a generational problem. Empires have risen & fallen....and A&M still is a joke in football.
The problem is the bizarre culture in College Station. This faux militarism that is violently homoerotic and celebrates people who ignore facts and logic. People want to feel different and special and the culture in college station values this over academic and athletic achievement. I'll never understand it. It is truly a mental illness.

How do the aggies feel about Jimbo at this point? Honest question.....
Seems like actual results are disappointing. I sense there is some hope for the future with recruiting class. But in 2 years if you maintain a Sumlin equivalent record or drop below ( forfeit really is dropping below Sumlin) or is one year the point you drop Jimbo?

LOOks like Sumlin did better than Jimbo with more road wins and more ranked wins...and for less than half the salary......
What do the aggies think about this.....the cost is skyrocketing and results are worse with Jimbo than they had with Sumlin....

It's a fact that Sumlin lost 2 Heisman winning QBs to early draft and transfer and had the same results.

It also seems like A&M enjoyed beating LSU in 2018 more than they enjoyed beating Bama in 2021. I don’t recall seeing cups and framed photos from beating Bama. Prove me wrong.
