I felt sorry for those Duke lacrosse players. They ended up getting paid, but they went through hell to earn it. Sort of an early example of the media convicting people with hyperventilating, breathless, sensational coverage without regard to truth and facts.

I think you missed the point of the thread.
That said, IDK how that matchup would end. Laetner was legit an evil mofo on the court and also to his teammates. He made them better but he was also the kind of guy that will piss you off to make you better and he's also the main reason Duke ever got on the map of CBB. Dude was stone cold.
