Going off the deep end again, playing the "true son" card for Kim English.
Too soon, just ruin him IMHO.

I would only hire English at this early stage of his career if you were going to give him the same leeway Norm had when he started at Mizzou. Missouri basketball had never been anything before Norm, so no one cared or was breathing down his neck for those first 5-10 years.
Plus, I don't know how good of a coach English is on x's and o's, and fundamentals.
I am hoping we are secretly courting Dana Altman, and being upfront with him about anything he wants to know. Apparently, he left Arkansas so quickly because they misled him about the status of numerous players, mostly regarding academics and legalities.

Maybe in 3 or 4 years when we fire our next coach.

Big no to Kim right now. He needs to go earn this job somewhere else first.

If the list Gabe put earlier is correct then I’m definitely on the KE bandwagon. Who gives a shite if it’s “too soon”
This is a rebuild anyway. He secures better talent and learns on the job.

Once again, St Louis sportswriters are making stuff up out of thin air. They have NO info from the AD, and DRF is not dumb enough to trust them.
What's next, mysterious board meetings that never actually take place?

mason underperformed and had the best player in the conference too.
I watched most of his games, I was excited for him, but after this season I'm willing to wait on him

I mean, they improved over last year in KenPom.
Not sure how much they underachieved.

The A10 was as weak as ever, so finishing higher wasn’t as impressive. Also they Finished worst than the preseason ranking fwiw.
No reason to finish being both GW and Fordham. It’s funny following mason Twitter and mizzou Twitter bc mason fans think maybe even they could go better if kim doesn’t improve, and mizzou fans want kim

That list has 2 names that we should absolutely be pursuing and 2 names that shouldn't even be in consideration for a Power 5 opportunity.

Gregg Marshall is the only answer. He fits with his skill and our budget. He doesn't need 4 and 5 star kids to win, and it's a pure SEC move hiring him.
