I thought just like you until I had daughters myself, and now I view it differently. They deserve a chance at things and some accolades for competing.
I get this, but there is a reason they don't show junior college highlights on ESPN - nobody wants to see the highlights of a poor product.
That said, I think the SECN is a little different, it's a conference station designed to cover the full breadth of sports in the conference. So while female sports quotas are annoying on major sports networks, the SECN gets a pass from me to an extent.
Back when you couldn't get almost every bball/baseball game and some WBB game was on, it was more annoying. Less so now.

-Men's final day of regular season
-Bracket-setting day
-Regular season championship goes to the wire with three teams in contention going into the day.
All that in one day is far greater than anything that could happen in the women's tournament. The nightly recap program led with 12 minutes of women's basketball with nary of mention of any men's games. And then after one segment on the men they go back for another on the women.

Keep women traditional and value their traditional role that is essential to humankind. We don’t need them being men that’s all, and if they want to play some sports great but remember men made the sports they are playing and pioneered those grounds. Guys in here came up playing the sports and if you have actively competed against women and seen there athleticism side by side to a man you know that they are far inferior. Pushing women to work play sports be manly isn’t for everyone, including a lot of women! Some people have great appreciation for women and their traditional roles just like men need to be men. Woke is trying to make all the sexes the same and saying look we are exact and equal in everything which we all know is horseshite and is not progressing anything. There have been gender roles since the beginning of time, this is nothing new and you can’t rewrite history.

'SEC Now' Saturday night recap program leads with lengthy segment on women's hoops before touching men's. Really, what percent wants to see this?
Yeah it makes no sense.

They do the same with softball when far more interesting baseball action can be featured.
Softball is far more entertaining. This is the correct order.
all youre saying right now is "my school is good at softball, bad at womens basketball as well as baseball" . So for those of us with good WBB programs we care. Just in the same way I couldnt care less about Softball.
