I'm still hopeful he gets his shite together and is part of the SEC rotation. He's got the the arm and stuff if he'll throw strikes.

Barnett never gets ahead. Always behind in the count. Mid week starter.

We are hanging out next time I’m in SLC. We can fight at the Sonic of your choosing.

I didn't watch but Barnett's line looks good. 8 K's 0 BB's.

That's the only knock on him tonight. 66 pitches in 5 innings.

If Barnett can get the walks under control we can host, IMO. He's got to be a part of the SEC rotation.

Slow down this team has a long way to go before we talk about hosting a regional. We don’t even have a definite Friday and Saturday starter. We have some good live arms but a soreness here an injury there and your entire ball club changes. Let’s take a few SEC weekends before we think we know what kind of team we have. They look solid. Solid doesn’t win a lot of SEC weekends.

If Barnett can be a part of the rotation then we are in business, IMO.

19-5 win against #1 Ole Miss last night. Impressive win and hopefully can take series today at 2pm.

Bought the newest addition to my family. Put it in the incinerator and cremate it with me so help me God.

Jang you got the best glove possible unless it’s just tiny for a little hand you’ll never have to get another glove. Get it restrung every other year. Get it conditioned good at the end of the season.
Never leave it in the yard to get rained on or sun baked for days and you’ll be fine.
Well spent 300-400 dollars my friend welcome to big time ball.

Giving up 33 runs in a 3 game set isn’t going to get u to regional for sure.
I realize it was OM and we have a lot of unknowns in our staff. I hope they get better as the season progresses.

I like listening to Mark Fuller's color commentary on the AU Network. He often talks about Baird's approach to pitching, which was that unless you have un-hittable gas, he'd change your arm slot and teach you the two-seam fastball/sinker. Baird's pitching bonafides speak for themselves. I wish Thompson and Hudson would adopt this approach. This approach is the main reason that Hudson was so effective during his career, because of his sink and movement on his two-seamer. We've got 4-5 guys that are 93+ mph, but their fastballs are so flat that it makes them extremely hittable, Bright and Barnett in particular. It also seems to me that we don't get a lot of bad swings on fastballs because the four-seamers we throw don't have any movement. I also think that's why we give up so many walks. The guys that do that come to mind that have good movement are Gonzalez and Swilling, and maybe Armstrong but I've only seen him once.

Yes sir! I had one in HS but it’s a POS now. It’s stiff as a mofo.
But the break in process has begun:

I recommend watching some YouTube videos of Aso breaking in gloves and prefer it over the rubber band method

I actually watched one yesterday. Do you think they can be done in combination? Because I beat the shite out of the glove and did the hot water just like on that video.
