Bryan Harsin's two most important games

are not Alabama and Georgia
but Missouri then LSU at home
Auburn opens up with two cupcakes before hosting Missouri and LSU. That is immediately followed by a trip to UGA which is followed by a trip to Ole Miss.
After the two cupcakes he has a game with Missouri that Auburn should expect to win
Following that he has a talented but rebuilding LSU
Then he heads to the defending national champion and a headache Ole Miss.
If Harsin goes 2-2 in his first SEC games that's probably fine. Anything less? There's an interim coach finishing out the season.

Thought this was going to go in another direction tbh...

I think Penn State in game 3 and Mizzou in game 4 will swing which way the season goes. If they go 4-1 in the first 5 at home they could have a decent record but if they lose 2 it could get ugly.

I'm the dummy that forgot the Penn State game

Nah it was the first game and his last game whenever he gets fired. He's getting paid like all the other coaches with dead money

Bryan Harsin is going to go 0fer until they pay him to go away. Auburn's boosters are about to win stupid prizes.

That's an interim coach about to inherit $15M, too.
Can't beat that Auburn retirement plan!

Get ready for the 7 mil Crean buyout.

According to the College Football Matrix website (deep stats and numbers, LINK /), the team with significantly better recruiting in the previous 3 years wins 80% of the time regardless of other factors. Harsin's problem is that he has to play UGA, Bama, TAM, and LSU every year and is not recruiting anywhere near their level.

$30,000,000+ for players club members? oh yeah.
I just cant figure out how the media has turned to crickets since the three coaches came out of their public accusal/denial fest 10 days ago.
Out in the open.

I despise the whole NIL deal but my point remains. AU can't "under recruit" and them coach 'em up and win in the SEC West.

If he doesn't start doing the things expected, he will be fired and not paid the full amount of his buyout. That means attending events, holding clinics and other duties customarily done by other similar head coaches. The language in his contract on that is clear.

The coaches attended a revival in Birmingham, all confessed their sins and asked for forgiveness, hugged and made up. Two even challenged each other to an airplane race as they left Birmingham International and the media covered that in one sentence. Face it, the media is fat and lazy. If it doesn’t happen in front of them, they don’t cover it.

That’s so stupid even an Aub cannot be excused for saying it. While I do believe Harsin will be followed around by private investigators until the find “Cause”, Harsin is smarter than that. That’s why he told his assistants not to cheat. He saw what Fat Phil did to Pruitt and understands the game. Pressure to cheat and then cut you. He will go through the motions and dot every I and cross every T. Aubs will PAY HIS arse! The Never Yield club just got their a$$ kicked by a Idaho boy.
