I am embarrassed for AU, for fans, alumni and the AD. AU has just dug itself a hole that will be difficult to climb out of, at least in the short term.

Even if Harsin stays, he is going to be setback and probably pretty disgusted by the whole thing. Now he's got "rats" in the AD talking shite about him to the press. Not to mention the nasty rumor that got started by some booster or person in the AD.

Look, if Harsin is doing really over-the-top shite, that's one thing. But none of the shite in the newspaper is unusual at all to me. It's all butthurt players mad they got cut or snowflake staffers in the AD who think he's mean. Newsflash, Saban is ruthless with his roster management. The mofo will cut 5 stars if they aren't quite up to his standard. That's literally what he means by "process." Saban was caught on camera dog cussing Kiffin during a game because he didn't like the play call. And when asked about it by the press, he bragged and said "Yeah that was an arse chewing."

My point is, Harsin isn't doing anything (that I can see) that isn't done at other schools. And judging by his comments to ESPN, he really wants to be at Auburn. I think it's CRAP that we have fans who will shite on him for nothing. No, I wasn't happy with 6-7 but I truly think he is making progress. He wants a complete overhaul and with that will come some growing pangs.

AU's own worst enemy is itself. No one can agree on anything or get behind a coach. And until that changes, don't expect anything different on the field.

Thank God for Bruce Pearl.

Where did this all start from? It doesn’t seem like anything illegal was done.

If? If? He is sleeping with his subordinate that is a violation of his contract.

The other stuff is just an example of a bad head coach but he talks tough.

Proof? If AU had proof of it, Harsin would have been gone yesterday. Who knows what will come out in the future, but I strongly suspect it was a BS rumor started by a booster trying to knife Harsin in the back.

That isn't true. Go back and look at the timeline for Freeze and Bobbie P.

I don't know if it is true but the timeline would be midweek if so.

Meh. What are ya gonna do?

Stuff happens.

Seriously, come with some game, some evidence, then fire him. Don't drum up innuendo and rumor as an excuse to publicly vilify a guy.

It started with, 20 transfers, about to hire our 3rd OC, d coordinator left. Hars does not care about boosters, coaches or players. Hates recruiting and our being shutout on signing day. Does not build relationships with HS coaches. None of those are fire for cause, but together are a concern.

Careful. The AuFamily bunch won’t like this.

So who are the geniuses who hired him if they are so unimpressed with how he goes about running the program? I think a good chat with a man in the mirror might be in order.

Great, we had one more transfer than Bama during a year we are cleaning house and running off the soft, weak, entitled kids.

Difference is- Bama spins it as a positive and we think the sky is falling. Morons.

If you don’t like Harsin, just STFU until he either builds it or not. Whining over everything he does is Loser mentality and frankly most of the negative comments about Hars are Loser and I mean big time no life whiny loser comments and attitude. Must be miserable to live like that.

If u want to fire him for incompetence then that is fine, but don’t makeup stuff or find BS reasons like we did against Sonny G just cause he was an A hole

There’s a big difference in Bama and our transfer portal. they are losing guys that aren’t getting reps and are able to replace. We are losing key guys and aren’t replacing

There is plenty of information to support firing Harsin without cause. 1st year or not. For cause stuff is for the lawyers to litigate.

Regardless the PTB has shot their shot, and Harsin fired back (using the Thamel mouthpiece of all mouthpieces.)

Fact will be separated from fiction and then the decision will be made. And then we can move forward.

If Harsin is retained, the (deserved) damage is already done, and he will find it even more difficult to recruit.

If he isn’t retained then there are options. Brian Stultz, the Rivals mod is adamant that Freeze is willing to walk to Auburn if given the chance. There are other opportunities as well. Jeff Grimes. Maybe Matt Rhule. Deion. Jeff Lebby. Etc.

If the affair rumors are true, Harsin will be fired. If not, his reputation will still be tarnished forever. Saddest thing of all, so will his assistants that has had her pic plastered all of the Rant. Think about it, if that poor girl did nothing but her job, as long as she is at Auburn, she will be linked to using her lady parts to get a job.

Media is "all in" on this approach.

Processing vs train wreck.

Only a fool thinks their team can process players without replacing them. Bama has brought in the number one WR and DB in the transfer portal and had another great signing class. The differences are astounding and makes for a shitty comparison.

Truth. When do you think we will get an answer on Harsin either way? Surely Auburn doesn't stretch this out for a week.

If its a firing for cause it will take some time...i's dotted t's crossed kind of thing.

If we are truly on a fact finding mission then it's a three ring circus.

Can’t tell you. Jhead, rivals board insider say both parties have already lawyered up. He thinks both parties will eventually work a settlement. But he’s just an insider, probably the equivalent of Dukes
