You gave this a 5/10? You're getting soft in your old age.

Not a follower of car racing.
I have heard of Darrell Waltrip but know nothing of his personality and demeanor.

I can only speak for myself. I am glad Kirby finally broke through. I am not one to gloat because I have been on the other side plenty of times.

First time I saw it spelled that way was in a Lewis Grizzard book. He was describing his first year at school and working in the radio booth. Apparently Georgia was playing their opener against Alabama and on Alabamas first play Georgia tackled them for a loss and the color commentator for UGA at the time, a pretty excitable guy it seems, exclaimed " They're ready, Jawga's ready "

Lewis then wrote, they weren't ready, Alabama won the game 31-3, in Dooley's debut if I'm remembering correctly. Lewis Grizzard and his writing style was a national treasure

idiot- it would still be Jawja.

"Ga" is a hard G. Jaw-guh makes no sense and makes you look like a ruhtard.

I lived in Georgia for many decades and have never heard Georgia pronounced with a silent R.

In his defense... without assistance, it's difficult for him to get hard.
