If you watched Perkins' interview, it was clear he is going to the highest bidder. Not sure Florida wants to ante up enough cash to pull him.

He was in town all weekend and coaching staff is visiting his uncle today.

^sounds like sour grapes to me. When asked about Texas he mentions NIL. And it sounds like they offer the most money of any school. NIL is major factor but these kids still consider other things as well.
He also mentions in another interview he was happy to know the two LSU staff members at florida now. So he has familiarity.

You are free to draw your own conclusions. He mentioned how much money he could make or was being offered at more than one school who was recruiting him. I'm not criticizing him, just stating that it was clear to me that money was a driving force in where he ultimately signs.

Stop talking about things you know nothing about.
He had a nice visit. He's still committed to A&M. He'll go chill in Hawaii for a week and be back in time to meet with the A&M staff one last time before he signs.

I think the kid likes the Florida coaching staff and that's why he is reconsidering. Probably stays with A&M though.

Fair enough. Kid definitely wants the money. I agree with you there. That would seem to hurt Florida’s chances

He just means that A&M is still doing under the table deals in the NIL era, so even if we offer the most NIL it still isn't the largest total compensation package.

Perkins is a hard one to get a read on.
He did say he always wanted to go to florida.
