Just so people know. They've already calculated what UF needs to win. They will give it to them.

Home cooking is prevalent in gymnastics.

Don’t get me wrong. These are top notch athletes in their own right, but I don’t know if I’m paranoid or not paranoid enough that the scoring system is easily rigged.

It's just subjective. Judges get intimidated by crowds, I've personally seen it on several occasions. Judges gave the crowd what they wanted.

What Alabama did today was more impressive as road scores are counted more in NQS and post-season seeding.

It's unlikely UF gets this highly overscored on the road.

10s are supposed to be rare...a few per season...they were handed out like candy today, pretty shameful. Didn't see any 10-worthy performances today. Certainly the last gymnast didn't earn one.

But judges are human. They f*ck up. The most common is when they paint themselves into a corner. They overscore on a routine and have no choice but to escalate from there for each following routine.

Wins and losses don't matter in gymnastics until the post season.

It's like golf. You're playing against yourself. It's about scores.

Theoretically you could lose almost every meet on your schedule and still rank the highest in your conference.

That's why there was never a "regular season" champion in the SEC until a couple of years ago...because the actual schedule doesn't matter.
