Apparently some rumors floating around Kirby is toying with the idea. With Gunner arriving in Athens.

Yes, I think he would be a very good OC. Although Kirby might keep the training wheels on him like Urban did at Florida. Urban was conservative as hell at UF most of the time.

Kirby and Mullen hate each other.
ETA: I mean Kirby pretty openly talks shite about Mullen in the media. Less than 1% chance he hires him.

I have serious doubts Mullen is taking any college OC jobs out there. He can still get a head coaching job somewhere or NFL job if he chooses. My guess is he sits this year out enjoying his fat buyout and then reevaluates everything next year

Can he do that with his son signing now? Or maybe that relates to hiring the HS coach? Thought one of the two scenarios the coach had to be on the field.
regardless, UGA could do much better than Bobo or Mullen
