Is he still considered a good DC? His defenses at Ole Miss were pretty terrible.

Nobody with any football knowledge believes those numbers represent the defense Durkin put up.
Is he better than Elko? Hell no. That's why Elko is now a HC.
Durkin is the best available right now, as far as I can tell.

Looks like most are mixed. He was pretty damn good at Florida and Michigan. Now? Hard to tell with not as much success at less talented stops. He did improve Ole Miss significantly from 20 to 21.

Too bad he won't have the 12th man to back him up at A&M. The 12th man now rides around in a car by themselves wearing a mask scared of wake forest.

Our defense was actually decent over the back half of the season. Didn’t allow more than 21 points on defense in our final five games (against Liberty, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, and Baylor)
