Gus could’ve easily won in 2017 at LSU, but sat on the lead.

He should’ve been fired that night for that ridiculous bullshite, it would’ve kept us out of the terrible contract we gave him a couple months later.

I’m supporting harsin for now, but he went 6-7 in his first year…. that’s not good.

6-7 does suck your first year. We were close on multiple occasions to going 7-6. Saban went 7-6 his first year at Bama with similar talent to us now (they were 15,18,11 in recruiting the years prior). Next year tells us alot about if Harsin has what it takes or not.

That’s great and all, but I don’t see much of our fanbase begging for Gus back. People are questioning Harsin after this shite season, as they should.

I would say give Harsin two more years. He did help somewhat salvage the first year recruiting class, but next year has to be better. Got to be Top 10, and really should shoot for Top 5 if we are to get back on our feet. He has to get a QB in and get the offense developing. We have to have linemen.
I know Gus left a lot of holes, but I am not optimistic from what I have seen this year. I could take the losing record, if we had just maybe looked like we were improving a bit, but we just fell flat on our faces down the stretch. I am hopeful we will see the improvement start next year.
I really don't think he is the guy, but I am very hopeful he proves me wrong.
